ZCAS University: A Leader in Accounting and Business Education A Legacy of Excellence ZCAS University boasts a rich history dating back to 1989 when it was established as the Zambia Centre for Accountancy Studies (ZCAS) through an Act of Parliament. Their mission has remained constant: to train accountants, promote research, and provide advisory and consultancy services in accountancy, finance, and related fields. Over the years, ZCAS has emerged as a prominent institution, becoming the "accountancy and business training tertiary institution of choice in the region." Financial Independence and Growth Initially supported by donors, ZCAS has transitioned to become a fully self-supporting institution. This achievement highlights the exceptional management and leadership within the organization. In 2016, to expand its offerings, ZCAS established a subsidiary - ZCAS University - enabling it to award degrees under the Higher Education Act. By 2021, ZCAS University became a fully independent private limited company.
